KEER 2014

Welcome to KEER 2014 - An European Approach

The KEER 2014 is the 5th event in a Conference Series initialized by the Japanese Society of Kansei Engineering (JSKE). The KEER 2014 is jointly organized by the JSKE, the TIK and the EKG (European Kansei Engineering Group) and hosted by Linköping University in Linköping, Sweden.

Linköping University (LiU) was founded in 1968 and is now regarded as one of the leading universities in Sweden. LiU has been one of the first universities working with affective engineering in Europe in the early 1980ies. Since 1999 Kansei research has been a profound topic of research at LiU. In 2012 the European Kansei Engineering Group (EKG) was founded in Linköping, featuring 6 different European Universities. Its aim is to support Kansei technique in Europe and coordinate research efforts in Europe. Being invited to organize the KEER 2014 is an honor for us.

Conference Scope

The area of Kansei is vast. Hence, the conference will attempt to represent most facets of the areas in which Kansei research is carried out. The KEER 2014 will therefore include different steams.
